"To Belgrade!"
Written by Jaroslav Hašek, Švejk quickly became a world phenomenon. Not only did this laughing face of a man in a military cap land Czech classroom desks but it has been translated into 58 different languages. Worldwide, Švejk is either considered to be a Czech national hero, or perceived as a simpleton. He is most popular in the countries of former Austria - Hungary, more precisely countries of The Central Powers. So why don’t we commemorate this novel in other countries too? More than 50 restaurants have been built in the Czech Republic and none in the Slovak Republic while room for expansion into foreign markets with a verified product clearly exists as companies from Europe and Asia, South Korea specifically, expressed interest in the Švejk philosophy..
Daos Plus Ltd. are looking for potential applicants from foreign countries to export the concept. They are willing to support its development to other countries as the concept of Švejk restaurant works successfully in Russia, and character has huge potential.
Master franchising is a business method which involves granting individuals a license for a particular territory. Daos plus Ltd. owns both the franchise and the license and also manages a network in the Czech Republic. However, there is no representation in the neighbouring or other countries, thus offers the possibility to any territory outside the Czech Republic of acquiring a license to the trademark.
Master franchise holder is the owner of the concept in a given area and has the option to grant a license to others and build restaurant premises which consequently pay royalties. Master franchisor then selects suppliers and negotiates the terms and conditions in the particular territory.
