"A restaurant where the old feel young and the young like in a fairy tale"
The first restaurant was built in 1995 and by the year 2014 there were 51 restaurants bearing the name of the good soldier Svejk. His journey has left footprints across the country.
After building the first Švejk Restaurant in Pilsen an imaginative project was not long in coming, and soon came the construction of additional places of business. Thanks to the originality and combination of the best from Bohemia, restaurant managers became aware of the project and did not hesitate to open either a new restaurant in this style or turned their business into the the one ressembling the First Republic era. The period 2000-2008 saw the greatest expansion of the existing network.
